This poster subtly conveys the meaning of the letter ψ (PSI), “mind and soul.” The stylized ψ grid implies a logical thought pattern—“mind,” and the strips of colour create an imaginative dash of delight and joy—“soul.” Additionally, I incorporated Eastern-inspired Korean traditional colours to add a distinct aesthetic. As this poster is for an organization focused on promoting the relevance and importance of typography as cultural art, I created my ψ pattern by focusing on typographical concepts such as kerning, ligature, and glyph.
